Okay, something really cool happened today. I was in the library, drafting the recap of the Joan of Arcadia episode "Recreation", when a black girl walked up to the printer. Her thing wasn't printing so she opened the paper door. The evil bitch-on-wheels librarian heard this (Being the supreme evil does have benefits, sonic hearing among them) You know the one, glasses and a haircut that screams "I'm a forsaken lesbian!" Heh, Lesbian. But anyway, she was bitching (something she does remarkably well) at the girl for almost coming close to attempting to destroy the $1500 printer. In her defence (the girl, not the whore of Babylon) she just opened the door. She didn't do anything weird, she just tried to reload paper in the printer. So the printer starts printing, and her document prints out, and it's an e-mail. This drives the Lesbiatch crazy, so she's screaming and yelling about how e-mails are inappropriate for school and blah, blah, blah repressed-librariancakes. And the girl does something awesome.
She completely ignores her! She doesn't even listen, she just gets her e-mail and goes back to her computer. The Lesbiatch is furious and raving about write-ups and she just silently goes about her business, logging off and gathering her stuff into her messenger bag. I seriously almost proposed to her right there. She could have been competely wrong for me. Don't care. I would have married her right there.
